clift san francisco

Why we like this place
Here is a place so important, really needs no introduction. It is not the Clift and Clift Hotel, is just Clift. A famous and popular hotel owned by his Commission in 1913, was acquired and transformed in 1996 by the aesthetic and cultural impresario, Ian Schrager. Schrager, best known for trendy nightclubs Studio 54 and Palladium and high profile boutique hotels like the Royalton in New York and Los Angeles Mondrian sophisticated, enlisted the formidable talents of internationally renowned designer Philippe Starck to update Clift in a manner that would maintain his celebrity status and add a new spin hot.

So after a little 'hotel of horrors ~ and bounces in and out of life last week with the gift of sf ~ Fair Macworld happening, SF hotels seem a bit' packed ... just decided to check the Clift Hotel in San Francisco that is part of Morgans Hotel Group (with those awesome "The world needs a drink to discuss it. The world needs more interesting. " I love ads). ... were nice enough to upgrade me to experience one of their suites, and I am currently working at that "through the Looking Glass ... orange ..." feeling chart above ... and really, from the bizarre world inside of it and the view over the city here, it's hard to focus! It 'also incredibly calming and relaxing with his way of lavender input, light gray carpet and light wood furniture ... exactly what I needed after all the crazy last few days! Go take a peek into their fun, spacious suites, I'm living in the coming days on the next page!
